从1964年5月份起,中国科学院矿冶研究所和大连石灰石矿,共同进行了毫秒爆破现场试验研究和爆破地震作用的观察工作。开展这次试验研究工作的主要目的是:解决降低爆破地震作用对矿山周围重要工业建筑物和设备、以及居民住宅的影响问题,在此基础上,进一步改进爆破参数改善爆破效果。一年多的试验取得了一些经验,也获得了一定效果。由于毫秒爆破具有显著的降震作用,西山车间原限制齐发爆破
