随着电信运营市场的不断开放,市场竞争日趋激烈,如何在运营商内部建立一套有效的运营支撑平台,规范工作流程,快速响应市场变化,是各运营商都比较关心的问题。在全业务经营时代,电信运营商之间差异化产品将会越来越少,因而电信运营商之间的竞争将会演进为效率的竞争、流程的竞争、服务的竞争。在电信运营商推行精细化运营的今天,信息技术需要转变成生产力,将工作流引擎引入运营支撑系统,实现数据管理与过程管理相分离、设计与控制相分离,简化企业复杂的信息环境,实现资源信息的高度共享,支持业务流程的自动执行和监控,能够在很大程度上改善原有系统不够灵活、可扩展性差的缺点,使得企业在信息化大潮中提高竞争能力。本文从电信运营支撑系统的应用特点出发,探讨哪些工作流模式适用于该系统,比较分析电信运营支撑系统所需的工作流模式的特点,对电信运营支撑系统选择工作流产品以及工作流模型的建立、执行和监控有着非常高的针对性。
