1997年底,由山东省工商行政管理局干部、青年发明家李柏呈发明的中国首台传统书画装裱机问世了。这标志着中国的书画装裱业将告别传统的手工作坊迈向机器化大生产的新阶段。现年41岁的李柏呈军人出身,1976年在北京卫戍区服役。1988年转业到山东省工商局。那时他还是一个对书画装裱一窍不通的人。在一个偶然的机会,他突发奇想,搞起了装裱研究。12年的军旅生涯赋予他坚强的意志、清晰的思维、勤奋的习惯和严谨的作风,为研究装裱这门艺术,他先后跑了几十家化工研究所,试验了上百种化学药品,做过600多次实验,一种快速装裱法问世了。这种快速装裱法采用的是化工原料,它有着传统工艺难以比拟的“新”、“快”、抗污染、抗腐蚀、抗高温等新特点。但也有着它最大的缺陷,那就是使用化学合成材料,字画容易老化,时间长久会对画而产生一定的腐蚀作用,不但难以揭裱,而且不利于长期收藏和保存。凭着在部
