2016年4月28日,第十二届全国人民代表大会常务委员会第二十次会议批准《关于汞的水俣公约》(以下简称《汞公约》)。《汞公约》将自2017年8月16日起对我国正式生效。为贯彻落实《汞公约》,现就有关事项公告如下:一、自2017年8月16日起,禁止开采新的原生汞矿,各地国土资源主管部门停止颁发新的汞矿勘查许可证和采矿许可证。2032年8月16日起,全面禁止原生汞矿开采。
On April 28, 2016, the 20th Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Twelfth National People’s Congress approved the Minamata Convention on Mercury (hereinafter referred to as the “Mercury Convention”). The “mercury convention” will come into force for our country as of August 16, 2017. In order to implement the “mercury convention”, the following announcement is hereby made: 1. Starting from August 16, 2017, new primary mercury mines will be banned and local land and resources authorities will stop issuing new mercury mining exploration permits and mining license. Beginning August 16, 2032, a total ban on primary mercury mining will be banned.
