敞流加结晶器保护渣工艺比常规的菜籽油保护工艺能更好地解决连铸坯的横裂问题,可使脱方坯率减少一半。低倍金相检验表明,采用敞流加渣,非金属夹杂物大于2.5级的比油护方式多,但平均夹杂物级别相当。采用该工艺的20MnSi铸坯轧成合格的带肋钢筋,其成材率和钢材的机械性能都更好。但保护渣的制造和选用要讲究,浇铸工艺要严格按规程操作。
