中科院院士曹文宣等国家淡水鱼研究专家表示,长江水生生态环境保护已进入存亡的危急关头,建议改当前的阶段性休渔为全面休渔十年,抢救性保护我国最大的水生生物资源库,恢复长江生态。自上世纪八九十年代以来,长江生态资源大幅减少。一些珍稀物种灭绝或者濒危。中国科学院院士、淡水鱼类研究专家曹文宣介绍,长江里的白鱀豚、白鲟、鲥鱼等五大珍稀水生动物已经消失,江豚和中华鲟等珍稀物种已经处于极度濒危状态。
Chinese Academy of Sciences Cao Wenxuan and other national freshwater fish experts said that the Yangtze River aquatic eco-environmental protection has entered a critical juncture, suggesting that the current phase of the moratorium on fishing for a full 10 years of fishing, salvage the protection of China’s largest aquatic resources pool to restore the Yangtze River Ecology. Since the 1980s and 1990s, the ecological resources of the Yangtze River have been greatly reduced. Some rare species are extinct or endangered. Cao Wenxuan, an academician at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a freshwater fish expert, introduced that the five rare aquatic animals such as the white-billed dolphin, the white sturgeon and the bighead carp in the Yangtze River have disappeared. The rare species such as the finless porpoise and the Chinese sturgeon are already extremely in danger.
