The hole selector and its 2-D position reading device are the author’s tools for designing hydraulic manifolds. This article describes the structure of the location reading device features and the use of both. They are not only an optimization design tool, but also provide an ideal multi-channel monolithic manifold structure for high-pressure, large-flow systems.
