2004年6月1日,常香玉大师离我们而去了。6月3日上午我去参加了遗体告别仪式,深情地瞻仰了大师最后的面容。晚上,观看了河南电视台国际部制作的专题片《常香玉》。专题片制作得很精细,很朴实,很简练,很流畅,有相当的震撼力与视觉冲击力。她的美好形象,她的音容笑貌,她的优美唱腔,又活跃在我的面前,使我想到了许多往事。
