蚌埠水产研究所是集科研、生产、经营为一体的国有事业单位,企业化管理。现有职工81人,其中专业技术人员50人。该所除每年向全国各地提供大量“四大家鱼”鱼种外,还先后开发和引进了甲鱼、河蟹、罗氏沼虾、细鳞斜颌鲴、三角鲂、团头鲂、加州鲈、美国(鱼回)、梭鲈、澎泽鲫、高背鲫、长吻鲍等品种。其中工厂化快速养甲鱼项目已通过专家论证,成为蚌埠市近年来国家级星火项目中最大的一个项目。 目前,该所的甲鱼繁育和罗氏沼虾繁殖都已形成规模化生产,可年生产稚鳖20万只,成鳖7.5万公斤,蟹苗130公斤,罗氏沼虾苗6000万尾,淡水白鲳越冬片80万尾,罗非鱼苗5000公斤,其他鱼苗1000万尾。经过几年的发展,该所已成为安徽省最大的名特优新水产品苗种的生产基地。 年轻的水产研究所有一支年轻的、特别能战斗的职工队伍,所长姜晓天是蚌埠市“十佳青年”之一。

After several years of development, the Institute has become the largest in Anhui Province Teyou new aquatic products seed production base. The Young Fisheries Research Institute has a young and particularly capable workforce. Director Jiang Xiaotian is one of the “Top Ten Young Men” in Bengbu.
