喜欢纸质书的人,不仅需要品读“无用之书”的心情,还需要专门用来浪费时间;需要私家车或自己的书房等适合读书的场合;需要自己有地方有能力买书藏书……《中国城市阅读指数研究报告》不出意料地显示了纸质书阅读的下降和移动阅读的上升。报告显示,中国去年人均读纸书4.56本——作为对比,其他国家的情况是韩国11本、法国20本、日本40本、以色列64本。人们最常用的阅读途径是手机,占比38.7%,远高于第二位纸质媒介(除图书外,还包括报纸杂志等)的27.3%,以及第三位电脑的17.2%。

The report shows that 4.56 books per capita were read in China last year - as compared with 11 in South Korea, 20 in France, 40 in Japan and 64 in Israel. The most common way for people to read is mobile phones, accounting for 38.7%, much higher than the 27.3% of the second print media (excluding newspapers and magazines) and 17.2% of the third computer.
