笔者发现有的幼儿园在教育中存在着一些不那么正常的现象:譬如,个别小朋友饭吃得慢,老师和保育员便给幼儿一调羹一调羹地喂饭,一口还未咽下,一调羹又送进幼儿嘴里一边还大声叫:“快!快!往下咽,吃得慢的就别想睡午觉。”再譬如午睡时,许多教师亲自替小朋友解钮扣,脱衣服,而有些小朋友明明自己能穿脱衣服;上美术课,个别小朋友画得不是很理想,老师就一声不响地在画上添上几笔……仔细想想上述现象,可以发现它们有一个共同特点,那就是教育者为了追求“短期效益”而替幼儿做了许多理应由幼儿自己做的事情。这种行为可以称之为幼儿园教育中的“短期行为”。出现这种短期行为之原因当然是多方面的,但主要还在于教师自身。有的教师为了应付上面的检查得到一点好评,就在孩子的画上“加工”一下;或者认为培养幼儿的生活自理能力麻烦,不如为幼儿代劳省力,等等。幼儿教师出现这样的“短期行为”实在是不应该的。它将对幼儿产生极大
