标题是读者的向导,直接影响到新闻的宣传效果。科技新闻最明显的特点就是技术性强,标题比一般新闻难标,不容易做到生动活泼。因此,要注意读者文化层次、结构的不平衡性以及科技新闻本身特点这两方面的因素,深入构思,精心制作科技新闻标题。科技新闻标题要根据新闻本身的要素标出主要事实,基本要求就是让读者看懂,使读者第一眼就能被标题吸引,并对科技新闻事实有一个大概的了解。例如下面这则标题: The title is the reader’s guide, a direct impact on the publicity of the news. The most obvious feature of technology news is its strong technicality. Titles are harder to read than the average news, and are not easy to be lively and vivid.
