这里所谓明后严嵩时期,是指嘉靖四十一年严嵩被革职后到明亡之间的一段时间。所谓史学生态,则包括国家的史学行为和民间的史学行为两个方面。严嵩作为颇多争议的历史人物,近年来为之翻案辩解的人日渐增多,哪一个应该是真实的严嵩形象,考查文本背后的作者对解决这个问题是有必要的。分析后严嵩时期的史学生态,无论国家的史学行为还是私人的野史稗乘,都对严嵩的形象都有或不同程度的影响。分析严嵩,就不能不追问和分析后严嵩时代的史学文本背后的主体价值取向的影响,既要意识到徐阶、王世贞等对严嵩负面形象建构的影响,也要意识到艾南英等竭力为严嵩开脱者与严嵩的乡谊关系,结合思考,庶几可以接近真实的严嵩的形象。

After the analysis of the historical ecology of Yan Song period, both the history of the country and the unofficial history of the private scholar have their influence on the images of Yan Song. After analyzing Yan Song, we can not but ask and analyze the influence of subject value orientation behind the historical text of Yan Song in the post-Yan Song era. We should not only realize the influence of Xu Jie and Wang Shizhen on the construction of Yan Song’s negative image, Yan Song despised Yan Song and the relationship between the rural friendship, combined with thinking, Shu few can be close to the real Yan Song’s image.
