Neo-Keynesian economists think the sovereign debt crisis is just an appearance, and its essence is that the balance of payments crisis among euro-zone countries is rooted in irrational institutional arrangements. Simply put pressure on countries like Greece and other crisis countries and demand that these countries implement the austerity policy is not a good solution to the problem.
