在去年11月于德国迪赛尔多夫召开的ITIA/IMOA合金钢与特殊钢会议上,Anglo美国公司的Paul Missen宣称,从钨生产厂家的观点来看,过去10年是暗无天日的。实际价格从70年代晚些时候就开始明显地下降,以至到1990年跌入只有50美元/吨度的低谷,这是20年代初以来最低的。他指出,由于70年代后期出现了严重的供应超过需求的局面,导致钨精矿库存量的大幅度增加,已经远远超过了可供5个月消费
