Objective: To observe the effects of high-flux hemodialysis on quality of life and quality of sleep in maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients. Methods: Sixty-four MHD patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 32 cases in each group. The control group was given routine hemodialysis. The observation group was given high-flux hemodialysis. The hemodialysis time was 4h / time and 3 times / week for 6 months. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and Health Status Questionnaire (SF-36) before and after treatment were compared to improve the situation. Results: (1) The quality of sleep: The quality of sleep, sleep time, sleep efficiency, dosage of hypnotics, daytime dysfunction and PSQI score of the control group were significantly improved after treatment (P <0.05) PSQI score and total score were significantly or very significantly decreased after treatment (P <0.05, P <0.01), in which, sleep time, sleep time, sleep efficiency and PSQI total score was significantly lower than the control group After treatment (P <0.05). (2) Quality of life: The scores of physical function (PF), physiological function (RP) and social function (SF) of control group after treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment (P <0.05) The scores of entries were significantly or very significantly lower than those before treatment (P <0.05, P <0.01). Among them, limb pain (BP), total health (GH), energy (VT), emotional function (RE) and mental health MH) score was significantly lower than the control group after treatment (P <0.05). Conclusion: High-throughput hemodialysis can improve sleep quality and quality of life in patients with MHD.
