As a national intangible cultural heritage, the duo of Northeast China has distinct characteristics in the development of each period. After the founding of new China, a large number of literary and art workers into the northeast, greatly promoted the development of two people. The downturn of the duo in northeast China is the result of many factors, and the change of social functions and changes in the aesthetic needs of the audience are the major reasons. The duo turn from the date of its birth has the characteristics of an open, it has been constantly absorbing the essence of various arts, and its history is an innovative history. Compared with other operas, the duo has the advantages of being simple and flexible, being adept at representing the advantages of modern life, and contributing to artistic innovation. The decline of the traditional duo, along with the overall decline of traditional opera and folk art, is not an isolated phenomenon. Folk artists and professional artists exchange and learn from each other. We should look forward to the future development of the duo with a view of contact and development and encourage exchanges and integration among various forms of art. They should not only inherit the existing tracks and performances, but also inherit the pioneering spirit of the predecessors and protect their artistic soul.
