研究了局域波分复用(WDM)透明光学网络的传输特性。给出了环形网络的优良性能结果(小功率损失下,所有接收信号之Q值均大于10)。网络由6个网络结构成,它们之间用86.5km长的无补偿负色散光纤互联,使沿环的最大发送距离为519km,支持以2.5Gb/s运转的32个直接调制通道(80Gb/s的网络容量)。新颖设计的网络结便于测量和透明,保证了很高的变通适用性。据作者所知,采用直接调制式激光器(DML),不用色散补偿的这种透明网络,其容量长度乘积是迄今报导中最高的。
The transmission characteristics of the local wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) transparent optical network are studied. The excellent performance results of the ring network are given (Q values for all received signals are greater than 10 for low power losses). The network consists of six network architectures interconnected with 86.5 km of uncorrected negative dispersion optical fiber so that the maximum transmission distance along the ring is 519 km and 32 directly modulated channels operating at 2.5 Gb / s (80 Gb / s Network capacity). The newly designed network knot facilitates measurement and transparency, ensuring a high adaptability. To the best of our knowledge, the capacity-length product of this transparent network using Direct Modulation Laser (DML) without dispersion compensation is by far the highest reported.
