在能谱测量装置中,要求光电倍增管有好的能量分辨率和好的时间稳定性。特别是测量低强度的γ光子或电子时,长时间的测量更要求光电倍增管有好的稳定性。为了建立全吸收契伦柯夫谱仪装置,我们对几种大面积光电倍增管作了调试和选择实验。实验中把3″×3″NaI(TI)晶体耦合到光阴极,用~(137)Cs源的0.661MeVγ光子照射,将光电倍增管的输出脉冲输入4096道幅度分析器,进行脉冲幅度分析。对不同类型管子的测
In spectrometry devices, photomultiplier tubes are required to have good energy resolution and good time stability. Especially for the measurement of low-intensity gamma photons or electrons, long-time measurements require a good stability of the photomultiplier tube. In order to establish a fully absorbed Cherenkov spectrometer device, we commissioned and selected several large-area photomultiplier tubes. In the experiment, the 3 “× 3” NaI (TI) crystal was coupled to the photocathode.
