在广州禁烟运动中,具结斗争是林则徐与英国侵略者斗争的重要方面。这一斗争贯穿于禁烟运动的始终,起落反复,尖锐复杂。具结斗争充分显示了林则徐坚定的反侵略爱国主义精神,也集中地体现了林则徐的斗争策略思想。对此进行研究,肯定这一斗争的积极意义,分析林则徐在这一斗争中的策略得失及其原因,对全面地、实事求是地评价林则徐乃至清政府的对外政策无疑是有益处的。
In the Guangzhou No-smoking Campaign, knot-knot struggle is an important aspect of Lin Zexu’s struggle with the British invaders. This struggle runs through the anti-smoking campaign from beginning to end with ups and downs, sharp and complicated. The knot-fixing struggle fully demonstrated Lin Zexu’s firm anti-aggression patriotic spirit and his concentrated focus on Lin Zexu’s struggle tactics. To study this positively affirms the positive significance of this struggle, analyzes Lin Tse-hsu’s strategic gains and losses in this struggle and its causes, and undoubtedly is beneficial to the comprehensive and realistic evaluation of Lin Zexu and even the Qing government’s foreign policy.
