On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army in the Long March, CCTV shot and produced eight large-scale documentary films called the Long March, which aroused enthusiastic repercussions in the community and was highly affirmed by the Central Government. In order to summarize its successful experience in time, the China Radio, Film and Television Federation of Social Organizations and CCTV jointly organized the Documentary Long March Symposium on December 4, 2016 in Media.
