今年是广州柴油机厂股份有限公司（原广州柴油机厂）的前身协同和机器厂诞辰100周年。10月17日，广柴股份公司举行隆重的庆祝活动。协同和机器厂创建于1911年，并于1915年成功制造出中国第一台柴油机，为中国内燃机工业的发展与起步作出了重大贡献，开创了中国内燃机工业发展新的一页。
100th Anniversary of Guangzhou Diesel Engine Factory
2011 is 100th anniversary of Xie Tong He Machinery Factory, and now is the Guangzhou Diesel Engine Factory Co., Ltd. This company held a celebration ceremony on October 17. Xie Tong He Machinery Factory was established in 1911, and successfully built China's first diesel engine in China in 1915. It had contributed a lot on the development and improvement in China motor industry.
