人类社会的文明与进步推进了媒介技术的更迭与变迁。20世纪末以网络传播为特质的“第五媒体”悄然而至,“瞬息万变”的即时传播、“超时空”的海量存储以及“非线性”的超文本链接共筑了新媒体的技术架构。占据媒介领域的半壁江山的新媒体一时间成为“新宠”。重构媒介格局,导致传播观念发生了巨变,对媒介素养教育提出了新课题与新思路。媒介素养教育在媒介形态的变迁中被赋予了新的意义,重构了媒介素养的内容格局与文化情景。在信息爆炸时代,与时俱进的媒介素养在新媒体传播语境中奠定了内容建构的基调,并成为引领传媒教育发展的引擎与动力。
