Anchored teaching is a learning and teaching strategy developed by the Cognitive and Technology Projects Group (CTGV) led by Professor John Bransford at Vanderbilt University in the United States in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Anchored teaching is sometimes called “case-based teaching” or “problem-based teaching.” This teaching requires students to experience and experience the problem in the actual environment, rather than listen to this experience of indirect introduction and explanation. Once a problem has been established in the real situation, the entire teaching content and course of instruction are established (just as ships are anchored). An example of the teaching design of “Instance of Material Transmembrane Shipping” uses anchored teaching
