元代的王鹗提出“作文三体”:“入作当如虎首,中如豕腹,终如虿尾”(王恽《玉堂嘉话》卷一引),稍后的乔吉提出“乐府三法”:“凤头、猪肚、豹尾”。元末明初陶宗仪在《南村辍耕录》卷八中,解释这六字为:“大概起要美丽,中要浩荡,结要响亮”。这是对文章的开头、正文、结尾从审美的角度提出的要求,怎样才能达到这一效果呢?
