Gaozhou People’s Hospital is a county-level hospital in the economically underdeveloped mountainous areas in the western part of Guangdong Province. After scientific development and successful operation, it has become a company with total assets of 500 million yuan, annual outpatient amount of 550,000, and annual hospitalization of nearly 37,000. The large-scale comprehensive hospital with a total of 11,000 patient-years, annual surgery volume, and 1,420 hospitalized patients per day is the training ground for clinical colleges and postgraduates of Guangdong Medical College. Filled a number of technical gaps in the province and the country, and undertook the national “15” key scientific and technological research projects.
