Since I am often regarded as one of the representative figures of contemporary Neo-Confucianism, I can not, from a methodological point of view, examine the evolution of my understanding of Chinese philosophy in the past half century or not. In 1951 I went to Taiwan’s philosophy department and soon realized that it was a century of methodological importance. At that time, Anglo-American popular philosophical analysis, especially Logical Positivism. I am quite attracted by this trend of times.
