Essentially, the knowledge of science alone offers little utility. Without the ability to investigate, apply and communicate, science serves no purpose. That is not to undermine the importance of scientific knowledge, but there currently exists a major flaw in our high school educational system that inhibits meaningful leing experiences for most students.
