杨氏自古为中原望族,历史文化积淀深厚。杨氏堂联是杨氏文化中的精华,在杨氏文化中占有特殊地位,历来为文人雅士所推重。信阳(含固始县)杨氏人口约40万,位居全市前六大姓,堂联文化口碑相传,经久不衰。笔者自幼喜爱对联,常常利用差旅闲暇之机,调查根亲对联。至2015年年底,积攒姓氏文化对联近3000副,其中,杨氏对联200余副。一从堂联的构成来看,离不开祠堂和谱牒。祠联是指各个姓氏祠堂(谱牒)
