9月18日至24日,省委组织部、省委老干部局、省委党校共同举办了全省老干部党支部书记读书班。结业典礼上,省委副书记、组织部长、省委党校校长李景田看望大家并讲了话。他说,老干部党支部作为基层党组织的重要组成部分,担负着教育、服务、带动老干部,开展老干部思想政治工作的责任。加强老干部党支部建设,提高老干部党支部书记的理论水平,意义重大。对于今后老干部党支部建设工作,李景田提出了三点希望:一是老干部党支部要进一步加强对老干部党员的教育;二是老干部党支部要充分发挥桥梁和纽带作用,要引导老同志积极为在职的同志出谋献策,积极主持各级党委和政府的工作;三是老干部党支部要协助各级党组织,为维护改革、稳定、发展的大局做出新的贡献,争做实践“三个代表”的坚强堡垒。
