“授之以鱼,不若授之以渔”。随着社会的飞速发展,人类知识呈几何级数的增加,人们越来越认识到,学校教育不应停留在单纯的传授知识上,而应着眼于培养学生的自学能力。自学能力是学生能自觉地、灵活地运用旧知识去探索获取新知识的能力,是形成其他能力的基础,由于45分钟的课堂时间传授知识十分有限,大部分知识的获得是得益于自学的,因此,从战略眼光看,培养学生的自学能力的确是一项比传授知识重要得多的任务。诚如苏霍姆林斯基所说:“学生来到学校,不是为了取得一份知识的行囊,而主要是为了变得更聪明。”
