一次,我去参加北京的一所知名中学举办的“拔尖创新人才培养成果”展示会。这个展示会给我留下了很深的印象,学生所展示出来的能力和素质都让人十分惊喜。但是,我发现,与会者明显地表现出对培养所取得的一些成果过于兴奋。我认为,恰恰是这一点,使我们偏离了拔尖创新人才培养的正确道路。我们承认,在中学阶段应该进行这种培养。但是我认为,中学教学只是起到奠基的作用,在这一阶段,我们的任务是发现学生的一些潜质,然后培养他们能够进一步发展这些潜质的基本素质和能力。中学阶段的任务,绝对不是让学生在
Once, I went to attend the “Top Talent Innovations Achievements” exhibition held by a well-known high school in Beijing. This exhibition left a deep impression on me and the students’ ability and quality are all very pleasant surprise. However, I found that participants clearly demonstrated their excitement over some of the achievements made in training. In my opinion, it is precisely this that has caused us to deviate from the right path of top-notch innovative talents training. We acknowledge that such training should be carried out in secondary school. However, in my opinion, secondary education serves only as a foundation. At this stage, our task is to identify some of the students’ potentials and to develop the basic qualities and abilities that enable them to further develop these potentials. The task of secondary school, definitely not for students in
