The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of different feeding practices on infant growth and disease. Subjects were divided into exclusive breastfeeding, mixed feeding and artificial feeding three groups. According to the requirements of phased physical examination for 3,6,9 months baby physical examination and follow-up, measurement of infant weight, length and other indicators and detailed records, fill out the infants nutrition and development questionnaire. The results showed that within 3 months, the body weight and height of infants in artificial feeding group were higher than those of pure breast-feeding group and mixed-feeding group, especially in 3-month-old infants. At 9 months, the differences of body weight and height index No statistical significance. However, the prevalence and prevalence of infants within 9 months were the lowest among exclusively breastfeeding groups (P <0.01). Therefore, different feeding methods are closely related to the growth and development in infancy and the occurrence of diseases. Pure breastfeeding can better promote the growth of infants and reduce the incidence of infantile diseases.
