二十一世纪是知识创新的世纪,新世纪的经济和社会发展给基础教育提出了新的要求,赋予了新的使命。在初中地理教学中,课堂教学是提高学生学习质量的重要手段,也是学校教育教学的主要形式之一。农村初中地理教学的创新研究发现,地理教师在导入中针对学生的年龄特点和心理特征,精心设计生动的导入语言,充分联系学生的生活实际,或展示图片、演示实验,就会使学生感到学习地理既有意义又有趣味,从而产生积极的学习倾向。课堂教学是一个完整的艺术过程,在教学实践中,只要我们从不同角度进行积极的探索,寻求适宜学生学习需求的好方法,课堂教学效果就会达到半功倍的效果。
