从“发展党内民主”到“民主执政”,中国民主政治发展正在向一个崭新的阶段迈进。中国共产党带领人民在致力于经济建设的同时,也十分重视民主制度的建设,并明确提出“民主执政”的新理念。民主执政既科学回答了我们党执政的民主性质,也深刻揭示了我们党执政的实现途径;既体现了我们党执政的根本目的,也体现了我们党执政的手段和方法。
From “developing inner-party democracy” to “democratic governance,” China’s democratic and political development is moving forward to a completely new stage. While the CPC is leading the people in economic construction, it also attaches great importance to the building of a democratic system and clearly proposes a new concept of “democratic governance.” Democratic governance has both scientifically answered the democratic nature of our party’s governance and profoundly revealed the ways in which our party is in power; it embodies the fundamental purpose of our party in governing and the means and methods by which our party is in power.
