随着大连高新区和旅顺口区的快速发展,高新区进出中心城区交通拥堵日益严重,南部滨海大道应运而生。大连南部滨海大道由东端桥隧、跨海大桥、高新区滨海路3部分组成,全长约10.36km。其中,跨海大桥全长约6km,东起大连滨海路金沙滩东侧的金银山,向西跨越星海湾,在高新区填海区域登陆,通车后,从高新区驾车至中心城区,用时只需约10min。跨海大桥工程由大连市星海湾开发建设管理中心投资,设计等级为公路一级,分为主桥段和东、西引桥段。其中主桥段为国内首座海上地锚式悬索桥,采用双塔3跨双层梁结构布置形式,桥跨加劲梁为钢桁架结构,跨度布置为180m+460m+180m=820m,上、下层车道分别为东、西向
