In order to respond to Chairman Mao’s call for a boost in production and economy, the Heihe County People’s Government, in charge of increasing production and saving agriculture, carried out the agricultural production patriotic and productive campaign in 1952 and prepared for long-term economic construction. It decided to establish an agricultural extension station in order to start from the fundamental Reform farming methods, increase unit output, promote cooperation and mutual aid organizations and gradually carry out rural construction in a planned and conditional manner. In order to actively and steadily focus on the establishment, in order to achieve the purpose of promotion, we decided in 1952 that the number of county-building stations should be as scheduled.
