A bullet train passes through fields of rapeseed while running on the Xi’an-Chengdu high-speed railway near Jiangyou City, southwest China’s Sichuan Province, on March 14.
The high-speed train, which was put into operation last December, has cut the travel time between Xi’an, capital of northwest China’s Shaanxi Province, and Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province, by around 11 hours with the journey now taking just four, greatly facilitating tourism and transportation between the two cities.
