我场柑桔生产已有33年历史。经历过试种探索时期(1953—1959)、扩种发展时期(1960—1967)、生产兴旺时期(1970—1977)和挫折衰落时期(1978—1982)。1983年开始进入复兴时期。我场柑桔生产的衰落,除了和经营管理体制有关外,更主要的原因是受柑桔黄龙病的危害。其危害之猖獗,损失之巨大,作为一个以柑桔为主要经济收入的农业企业,教训是深刻的。杨村柑桔场过去曾是柑桔上山的样板,今天的境况如何?笔者欲从它的兴而复衰,又衰而复兴的过程,谈谈个人见解。
