HC series cryogenic pump compressors are arguably the first rotary compressors to be designed and manufactured with a cryogenic pump specifically designed for use with helium as a refrigerant. The HC Series compressors reportedly operate continuously for up to 10,000 hours without any problems and therefore run longer than helium compressors retrofitted with Freon compressors.
