PerkinElmer’s PE 2400 CHN and O analyzers are modern elemental analyzers for the rapid determination of carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen and oxygen in organic and other materials. For CHN analysis, the design principle is to first burn the sample in a controlled atmosphere and then selectively separate the products of combustion and pass them through a test system for quantitative analysis. For O elemental analysis, the sample is first cracked in a controlled atmosphere and the cracked product is then separated and detected. The instrument has many distinctive features: built-in diagnostic routine to continuously monitor electronic and pneumatic components, to ensure the best performance of the instrument. The unique wake-up device automatically starts, balances and calibrates the instrument at any time set by the operator. Running monitors can monitor reagents and consume zero
