低丘红壤实行等高撩壕改土栽培,是一项防止坡地桔园水土流失的耕作措施。同时,深翻撩壕打破了红壤的硬隔层,增大土壤孔隙,便于渗吸天然降水,减少地表径流,增强了土壤的保水性能,提高抗旱耐蚀能力。 七十年代后,衢州市推广等高撩壕改土栽培种桔,有效地改变了低丘园地的土壤环境,使柑桔生产出现新面貌。但对低丘红壤等高撩壕下土壤水分的了解尚乏资料,本文就此问题作一讨论。 一、试验材料与方法 本试验主要在本所河西红壤桔园中进行,柑桔品种为温州蜜柑,园地于1974年开发,树龄5~8年不等,均在结果期。
