冶金地质物、化探工作的任务,主要是在已知矿体附近或矿区外围寻找盲矿体或发现新的矿带,从而增加储量,扩大远景,延长矿山寿命或正确的选择矿山建设基地.几年来,为保证完成上述任务,在一些矿区及其外围进行了许多大比例尺的物、化探工作,积累了丰富的资料,但是,由于缺乏全面安排和进行及时的综合整理,资料非常零乱,往往对一个区域来说不能给予一个整体和系统的概念,也就难于作出正确和全面的评价,造成了物、化探成果资料不能得到充分利用和发挥应有的效果.
