《CCTV2005经济大典》是央视经济频道在统一冠名下整体组织实施的一个品牌节目群,在2006 年元旦期间推出,涵盖《中国经济年度人物评选》、《中国经济大讲堂》、《年度经济报告》、《2005CCTV 创新盛典》、《中国年度汽车评选》、《中国年度雇主调查》和《2006服装流行趋势发布》等七个项目。在这次特别节目中,CCTV.com在网上制作了《CCTV2005经济大典》的专题页面,包括论坛、图片、花絮、调查等许多无法在电视上呈现的内容在网络上得以体现,与电视传播形成了互动。《CCTV2005经济大典》特别节目的七个板块中有五个板块都是需要观众深度参与的调查统计类节目。电视画面转瞬即逝,无法实现互动的投票和统
