非营利组织作为社会的一个重要组成部分,其财务控制在很大程度上影响着整个社会、整个国家的经济发展,因此我们很有必要弄清楚这一组织的财务控制。同时,为了能够更好更深入地了解非营利组织的财务控制,我们就有必要先了解什么是非营利组织以及非营利组织具有的特征。一、非营利组织的定义非营利组织或非营利机构(Non-profitorganization,NPO)是指不以盈利为目的的,主要开展各种志愿性的公益或互益活动的非政府的社会组织。它的目标是通过努力,支持,处理或完成个人关心或公众关注的议题或事件。因此涉及的领域非常广泛,包括艺术、慈善、教育、政治、宗教、学术、环保,等等。
