The system described in this article utilizes the air supply from the mill, using an air-bearing guide, with a stepper motor and a high-precision ball screw to drive the C-gantry coaxially. The basic idea of control is to store the control order in the memory test area, set various status flags in the machine, and give the corresponding control actions as required. The block diagram and construction procedures are given in this article, illustrating some of the design techniques and the measures taken to overcome the interference.
