我国发行的贺年邮票多以生肖为题,虽说生肖更替也是新春的重要内容,但却不能代表春节的全部。好在我国的各邮政系统还是发行了不少春节主题的邮票,展现了各种欢度佳节的传统习俗。国家邮政局于2000年1月29日发行了2000-2《春节》邮票一套3+1枚,依次为“迎新春”,图案为剪贴新年窗花;“辞旧岁”,图案为过年放爆竹;“闹社火”,图案为扭秧歌舞龙灯;小型张邮资图“合家欢”,图案是包饺子、吃年饭。另有1枚小版张,边纸设计成剪纸图案,每版9枚邮票,邮票底色为红绿黄三色。画面图案具体形象地展示了中国传统节日春节期间的活动,画面色彩显示了春节的热烈喜庆气氛。
