针对Science创刊125周年之际公布的125个最具挑战性的科学问题之一“是否可能制造出室温下的磁性半导体?”进行了解读.主要从传统电子学面临的严峻挑战出发,介绍了磁性半导体的基本概念、与普通半导体的区别以及在信息技术中可能发挥的重要作用.本文以磁性元素掺杂的Zn O和Ga N为例介绍了实验中观察到的室温铁磁性的可能机制,并重点介绍了近年来关于典型磁性半导体(Ga,Mn)As的研究进展.最后针对室温下的磁性半导体研究进行了总结及展望.
One of the 125 most challenging scientific issues published on the 125th anniversary of Science was “Is it possible to make magnetic semiconductors at room temperature?”, Mainly from the severe challenges of traditional electronics The basic concepts of magnetic semiconductors, their differences from ordinary semiconductors, and the important role they may play in information technology.In this paper, the possible mechanisms of room-temperature ferromagnetism observed in experiments are described in this paper with examples of Zn O and Ga N doped with magnetic elements , And mainly introduced the research progress of typical magnetic semiconductors (Ga, Mn) As in recent years.Finally, the research and prospect of magnetic semiconductors at room temperature were summarized.
