Cochlear implants have previously been reported to have a high rate of recognition of short phrases and disyllabic words learned, but barely recognizable to open words. The stimulus frequencies used in these cases are speech frequencies. In order to find a stimulus coding scheme that is more consistent with electroacoustic characteristics, word recognition was further evaluated in two cases and the effect of speech frequency compression on monophony recognition was analyzed. The test form is composed of five phonetic diacritic words Pá, Pi, Pú, Péi and Pái in random order, pronounced by the female voice. Before the project test, practice first. Speech signals include both pulse and analog, single-channel stimulation via the intracochlear electrodes. The pulsed electrical signal (PS) is derived from the analogue electrical signal (AS) passing through the zero-crossing circuit, whose frequency is reduced by a factor of two
