雾气阴沉的日子也许不宜读书,放下书后我习惯地抽出一盘新碟,开始观看法国著名导演特吕佛的遗作《隔壁的女人》。看完影碟后又该是发愣的时候了,从弃书不读到闲看影牒,我从自己的行径联想到读书的问题——IT 之后,我们还会读什么?读书还是读 VCD、DVD、MTV、BBS、电视剧、广告以及卡通?这是十分诡异的问题。看上去简单说起来繁复。往小里说,读什么不读什么无非是个人化的日常选择,想读什么就读什么,干脆利落随心所欲。然而,事实上并非如此,读什么不读什么的选择权往往不在个人手里,我为什么弃书不读却将影碟看得如痴如醉?这个日常经验背后肯定有另一种东西在暗里作怪,这种东西还明确无误地告诉我们:世界已经进入了“读图时代”。
